Reflection
It's interesting to compare Join to the original BucketBoost project:
💡 We focussed on the concept instead of the development. We sought out how to find potential users and had meetings with the Saxion University of Applied Sciences to see if the app could be used during the student kick-off.
⏱️ We worked together efficiently outside of work hours. Each of us knew their specialty so tasks were divided naturally.
⚙️ I now knew how to code and what architecture to use, this greatly sped up the development of the app itself (days instead of months). We also regarded the app as a prototype app, useful for quick testing.
☀️ We knew when to stop the project when the app didn't get picked by Saxion during the student kick-off. All in all it was a nice quick side-project and a good way to learn how to quickly try out a new concept.

Join
Together with friends I created the app Join, also known as The Join Experience. It's the spiritual successor to the BucketBoost project. The idea is simple: you can place an activity on a map, and other people can then join your activity. This way you can share that experience together.
Overview
I worked together with Isabel van Bodegom (UX designer) and Babeth Brouwer (Content marketeer) on this project. We created a nice looking website, an Instagram account and a prototype app. Below you can see the website and prototype app.
